* Gary Morgan, a professor at Oxnard College, was inducted into the Community College Journalism Hall of Fame during a recent national journalism conference in Phoenix. The Hall of Fame is sponsored and administered by the Community College Journalism Assn., an international organization of two-year schools. Morgan, who has taught journalism at Oxnard College since 1984, was the only inductee this year. He was nominated by other journalism educators and selected by a committee of association officers and current Hall of Fame members.

“He has touched students’ lives with his skillful and innovative teaching,” association President Napoleon Johnson said. “Students have benefited from his enthusiasm, knowledge and good humor.”
