EVENTS

On the eve of the Sydney Games, the Pasadena Historical Museum’s inaugural Motorcar Decathlon will attempt to bring a bit of Olympic spirit to the Rose City. The competitive rally will take participants to half a dozen historic, Olympic-related sites around town, Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The event will be open to the first 100 entrants, at $100 per car, who apply by Saturday. All proceeds from the rally--and a gala and auction in conjunction with the new Olympic-themed exhibition “Let the Games Begin”--will benefit the museum. Information: (626) 577-1660.
