InSight Health Services Sees Profits Rise 37%

InSight Health Services Corp., a Newport Beach provider of diagnostic imaging and related services, reported fourth-quarter net income of $2.6 million, or 27 cents a share, 37% higher than the $1.9 million, or 21 cents a share, for the same period a year ago. Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was up 9% to $48.6 million. For the year, net income rose 18% to $7.2 million, or 76 cents a share, from $6.1 million, or 65 cents a share, for the year-earlier period. Revenue grew 16% to $188.6 million.
