Emergent Gets Piece of Prime NASA Contract

Emergent Information Technologies Inc. said Monday it received a subcontract valued at about $40 million to provide engineering, science and technology services to the National Aeoronautics and Space Administration’s Goddard Space Flight Center.

Total value of the five-year prime Space and Earth Sciences Data Analysis contract is $204.5 million.

The Newport Beach company’s stock, however, slid to a 52-week low of $1.88 a share before closing at $2, off 28 cents a share, in Nasdaq trading.
