THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Monday:

ANAHEIM

* Pacific Avenue: A disturbance was reported in the 9000 block at 2:24 p.m. Sunday.

BREA

* East Imperial Highway: A burglary was reported in the 2500 block at 10:14 a.m. Sunday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Brookhurst Street: A suspicious person was reported in the 18000 block at 10:17 a.m. Saturday.

FULLERTON

* Laguna Terrace: A resident reported seeing a male prowler in the backyard of a neighbor’s home in the 1000 block at 12:29 a.m. Monday.

* Franklin Avenue: A resident and her two children reported hearing the front door open and seeing the hallway closet door open at a house in the 4200 block at 9:58 p.m. Sunday. She and her children ran out the back door into a neighbor’s house.

LAGUNA HILLS

* Alicia Parkway: A petty theft was reported in the 25400 block at 10:54 a.m. Thursday.

LAGUNA NIGUEL

* Alicia Parkway: A motorist was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol in the 30000 block at 5:40 p.m. Thursday.

LAGUNA WOODS

* Mariposa West: Suspicious circumstances were reported in the 2300 block at 5:28 p.m. Thursday.

LA HABRA

* Hacienda Road at Whittier Boulevard: A traffic accident was reported at the intersection at 1:20 a.m. Sunday.

LAKE FOREST

* Bark Street: Vandalism was reported in the 24200 block at 11:12 a.m. Friday.

* Edgemont Avenue: Vandalism was reported in the 24000 block at 7:56 a.m. Friday.

MISSION VIEJO

* Camden: A petty theft was reported in the 27400 block at 9:43 p.m. Thursday.

* Mustang Run: A person was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public in the 27500 block at 10:06 p.m. Thursday.

PLACENTIA

* West La Jolla Street: A neighbor reported a continuing problem with people loitering, drinking and playing loud music in a nearby apartment at 4:52 p.m. Sunday.

* West la Jolla Street: Police received a report of a group of men drinking and breaking bottles in the 700 block at 7:07 p.m. Saturday.

RANCHO SANTA

MARGARITA

* Alma Aldea: A robbery was reported in the 22400 block at 9:41 p.m. Wednesday.

* Melinda Road: A fight was reported in the 29700 block at 4:43 p.m. Wednesday.

STANTON

* Beach Boulevard: Fraud was reported in the 12800 block at 4:31 p.m. Monday.

* Knott Avenue: A missing adult was reported in the 10600 block at 1:40 p.m. Monday.

YORBA LINDA

* Orange Drive: Malicious mischief was reported in the 17300 block at 9:26 a.m. Sunday.

* La Palma Avenue: Malicious mischief was reported in the 22200 block at 9:12 a.m. Saturday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports: Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Beach, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Newport Beach, Orange, Santa Ana, Seal Beach, Tustin and Westminster.

Go to https://www.ocsd.org and click on “Sheriff’s Blotter.” Incident reports are updated every few minutes and cover the cities of Dana Point, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Stanton and Villa Park, as well as the county’s unincorporated areas.
