Writing Seminar Accents Animation
An all-day writers seminar, set for Sept. 23 and sponsored by Women in Animation, will include an afternoon workshop in which voice-over actors will do a rehearsed reading of three animation scripts.
The scripts were the winners of a competition conducted in conjunction with the seminar. A panel of professionals moderated by Shari Goodhartz will provide feedback. The panelists are writers Sindy McKay, Martha Moran, Jack Enyart and Marlowe Weisman.
The winning scriptwriters, whose work will be performed at the afternoon workshop, are Gordon Goodman, Rick Danenberg and Sybil Baker.
The seminar, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., will take place at Klasky Csupo, 6353 Sunset Blvd.
