Nubel Takes Viking Vice President Post
* Mike Nubel has been appointed vice president of product marketing and product management for Viking Components Inc. in Rancho Santa Margarita. He was formerly senior vice president of consumer technology merchandising for Value America. Before that, Nubel was director of retail sales at Viking Components.
* Ron Nieman has joined RemoteVideo.com and SecurityCameras.com in Santa Ana as chief executive. He was previously senior vice president, general manager for Sensormatic Electronics Corp.
* Shar Javad has been appointed senior vice president and chief information officer for Santa Ana-based GeoLogistics Corp.’s logistics and freight forwarding division. Javad has more than two decades of experience in transportation and transportation-related industries, most recently at Ryder Integrated Logistics and CSX Sea-Land Logistics.
* Terry Cooper is the new president of Softech & Associates Inc. in Costa Mesa. He succeeds David Nguyen, the company’s founder. Nguyen was named vice president of operations. Cooper is founder and former president of On-Site Solutions.
* Timothy A. Quintanilla has been appointed chief financial officer of National Capital Companies Inc. in Irvine. Before joining the company, Quintanilla held various auditing, tax management and senior supervisor positions with Price Waterhouse LLP; Goodrich and Thomas; and Lesley Thomas Schwarz Postma Inc.
* Richard D. Reiser has been named vice president of engineering for Rutilus Software Inc. in Irvine. Reiser has held executive-management-level positions with Mylex Corp., Avatar Systems, Quantum, Toshiba America Information Systems, ORCA Technology and Priam.
