At the Drive-In, “Relationship of Command,” Grand Royal/Virgin. From the first notes there’s a bracing immediacy to the angular music and Cedric Bixler’s high howl. The El Paso band’s sound touches on the spirit of the MC5, Fugazi and Rage Against the Machine, but there’s a subtle depth and individuality as well.
