The City Council approved a recommendation from the Senior Citizens Committee to establish a computer lab and an exercise room at the Sea Country Senior and Community Center at its meeting Tuesday.
The computer lab will be placed in what is now the game room at the center, and an existing conference room will be converted into the exercise room.
The computer lab will offer classes four days a week for senior citizens on using the Internet, e-mail and word processing. The lab will also have Internet access available for residents.
The city allocated funds for the computer room in this year’s budget.
