SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO
The City Council came a step closer at its Tuesday meeting to bringing a 10-court tennis complex to St. Margaret’s Episcopal School.
The council voted 5 to 0 to continue negotiating an agreement with the school’s representatives for a joint operating partnership between the city and St. Margaret’s.
San Juan Capistrano’s proposal includes four lighted courts and six unlighted courts, which would be in operation until 9:30 p.m. A $5-per-hour or $20-per-month usage rate would be charged to adult residents.
