Kozmo.com in Distribution Deals

Kozmo.com said it struck distribution deals with 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, a unit of Fox Entertainment Group Inc., DreamWorks International Distribution, a unit of DreamWorks SKG, and Universal Studios Home Video, a unit of Seagram Co., to buy and lease videos and DVDs directly from the studios. Each company would take an equity stake in Kozmo. Kozmo, which has reportedly been in talks to acquire its struggling rival Urbanfetch, did not release financial terms of the deals, but said each stake is similar to those taken in March by Columbia TriStar and Warner Bros., both of which now have a $10 million, or 1.4%, stake.
