Southern California is definitely a different state of musical mind than the nation as a whole this week. Barenaked Ladies’ “Maroon” entered the national sales chart at No. 5 but is all the way down at No. 14 in this region. Here, the Canadian band was outsold by Christina Aguilera’s Spanish-language album (No. 12) in SoCal and Andrea Bocelli’s set of Verdi arias (No. 13).
