Amgen Launches Site for Kidney Disease Specialty

Thousand Oaks-based Amgen has launched a Web site--https://www.RenalAdvances.com--that caters to the clinical and informational needs of the health-care community involved with kidney treatment.

The site offers access to news and information as well as clinical management tools. The company said the site is poised to become the premier online destination for health-care professionals specializing in kidney disease.

Michael Narachi, Amgen’s vice president and general manager for nephrology, said the site will help Amgen get more information more quickly to “the professional nephrology community.”

Site visitors can access a summary of the clinical guidelines issued by the National Kidney Foundation, reprints of journal articles and dialysis patient materials.
