* Online grocery service Webvan Group Inc. announced the resignation of Mark X. Zaleski, senior vice president of area operations, and the appointment of Chief Financial Officer Robert Swan as chief operating officer. Shares of Foster City, Calif.-based Webvan closed down 13 cents at $2.63 on Nasdaq. Webvan said Zaleski would be joining a European Internet firm as chief operating officer.
