Bethesda, Md.-based Marriott International Inc., the biggest U.S. hotel operator, said fiscal third-quarter profit rose 15% as it experienced a record summer travel season. Net income rose to $110 million, or 43 cents a share, from $96 million, or 36 cents, in the year-earlier period. Marriott’s sales rose 15% to $2.3 billion.
