Share

McAfee.com, a security application service provider, recently launched a Web site to educate Internet users about dangers children may face while online.

The site was launched in collaboration with Lawrence Kutner, Harvard University child psychologist; Colin Hatcher, president and chief executive of SafetyEd.org; RippleEffects.com, a software company focusing on social learning; and the San Jose Sharks National Hockey League team.

It focuses on the protection of children through safe practices, parent-teacher involvement and technology.
