Irish rocker Shane McGowan has been seen lately at work in a Dublin recording studio, not on a new album by his band the Popes, with whom he appears Sunday at House of Blues, but as producer for another band. The mystery group is managed by a former roadie for the Pogues, McGowan’s pre-Popes band.
