Species Control

* Re “Bush Seeks Greater Control Over Endangered Species List,” April 12: With this control, big business can wipe out ever more species of animals we share our planet with, while making even greater profits from development. Not only does the increased development encroach on the space animals need in which to live, but the increasing pollution makes the overall environment worse for us all.

At the same time, “Bush Budget Ends Coverage for the Pill” (April 12). This way, without such contraceptives, there can be ever-increasing numbers of Homo sapiens, with our need for more space and increasing pollution. Yes, thanks to the brilliant planning of Bush, the future does, indeed, look bright.
