* Re “Some Big Water Agencies Awash in Perks and Benefits,” April 24: My blood pressure took a turn for the worse when I read about what is happening to some of my hard-earned tax dollars: Classes on “Basic Simulator Flight Training” (was water official Albert Robles thinking about a fast exit?) and “Acting for the Nonprofessional” (this guy certainly didn’t need that class--he’s been pulling the wool over people’s eyes for a long time). And how about those trips to Spain and Costa Rica; he must have learned a lot about water down on the beach. To me, this is a perfect example of the inmates running the asylum. Don’t these people answer to anyone?
