Boys & Girls Club to Hold Blood Drive
From Times Staff Reports
To help with the county’s critical blood shortage, the Boys & Girls Club of Simi Valley will hold a blood drive next week.
Anyone who is at least 17, weighs at least 110 pounds and is in good health can donate blood between 2 and 6 p.m. Monday in front of the club’s headquarters at 2850 Lemon Drive. The club’s goal is 20 pints.
“There is a crucial need for donations of all blood types,” said club spokeswoman Shannon Prusa.
To make an appointment, stop by the club or call 527-4437.
