“I’m partial to Rhone wines and Pinot Noirs. I like the ’98 Guigal Cote du Rhone and the Cote du Rhone blanc. The red has a lot of Grenache character and is spicy--but a different type--cinnamon and floral. It has nice medium structure and is well balanced, and goes well with the foods I like to cook--grilled foods. I also like California Pinot Noirs, like the ’97 Talley “Rosemary’s Vineyard.” I like the intensity of the fruit
