Fleeing the LAPD

Share

If Police Chief Bernard Parks of the LAPD was the CEO of a business corporation and over 800 employees left the company, he would immediately be terminated along with his management staff (“LAPD Exodus Is Outpacing Recruitment,” Aug. 19). Why hasn’t Parks been reprimanded for the low morale of the officers and the loss of so many employees? It’s obvious there is a management problem, and no one seems to care or support the thousands of police officers on the street, who seem to be the only ones doing their jobs and caring about the citizens of Los Angeles.
