Investigators were at work preserving evidence at the site where two Air Force training planes crashed, killing one Italian pilot and injuring two others.

Two T-38A Talons from Sheppard Air Force Base collided Friday during a NATO training session and crashed about 300 yards apart. The pilots are Italian members of the Euro NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training program.
