Charles K. McDonald of La Mirada and Cynthia McDonald of Corona del Mar announced the engagement of their daughter Jennie Eileen McDonald to Ronald Joseph Harden.
The bride-elect received her bachelor’s degree in interior design from Cal State Long Beach. She works at LPA Architects in Irvine.
The bridegroom is the son of Carol Harden of Sacramento. A former U.S. Marine, he works at Presstek Inc. in Connecticut.
A fall wedding is planned.

The Laguna Village Cliffs was the setting for the wedding and reception of Jessica Leigh Johnson and Jeffrey Michael Hojnacki.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Johnson of Yorba Linda. She is a graduate of Sunny Hills High in Fullerton and earned a degree in biology at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Fla.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Hojnacki of Hoffman Estates, Ill. He also earned a biology degree at Eckerd.
Both teach in the Orange Unified School District.
The couple live in Fullerton.

Megan Elaine Edmunds and Timothy David Buckley were married at the Community Lutheran Church in Rancho Santa Margarita. A reception followed at Coto de Caza Golf & Racquet Club.
The bride is the daughter of Tom and Jenet Edmunds of Coto de Caza. She graduated from Santa Margarita High and UC Berkeley with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She is a stock administrator in Santa Clara. The groom is the son of Richard and Janet Buckley of Livermore. He graduated from Livermore High and UC Berkeley. He works at Iridex Corp. in Mountain View.
The couple honeymooned in Moorea and Bora Bora, and live in Sunnyvale.

Lisa S. Welke and Alan Zawistoski exchanged marriage vows at Incline Village in Lake Tahoe. A reception followed at the Chateau at Incline Village.
The bride is the daughter of Mel and Sandy Welke of Alamo, Calif. She graduated from UC Berkeley in 1991 with a degree in political science. She is a business development executive at PeopleSoft.
The bridegroom is the son of Alfred Zawistoski and the late Nancy Zawistoski of Rancho Santa Margarita. He graduated from Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., and received his MBA from UC San Diego. He is sales manager at Consilient in Irvine.
The couple honeymooned in Fiji and live in Coto de Caza.
