Youth Expo 2002 Seeks Bands for Competition

Next year’s youth expo will feature a battle of the bands, officials said. The one-day event will help youths learn about programs and opportunities across the city. The expo is March 17 at Santa Ana Stadium.
The battle of the bands will allow local young people to perform before an audience and compete for prizes.
Band applications are available from the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency. Band members must be 21 or younger.
Applications are due by 5 p.m. Dec. 14. The parks agency is at 888 W. Santa Ana Blvd., second floor.
