Group Collecting Coats, Canned Foods for Needy

The Boys & Girls Club of Simi Valley is collecting canned food and warm coats to benefit the Care and Share organization.
Items will be collected for the needy in the lobby of the club at 2850 Lemon Drive until Wednesday. The drive is sponsored by the Helping Hands service club of the Boys & Girls Club.
Helping Hands sponsors at least one community service project each month, according to the organization. It will hold a blood drive in January and a “Valentine for Vets” event in February.
