From Times Wire Reports
Former Indonesian dictator Suharto, suffering from pneumonia, was taken to a hospital when his condition worsened after three days of respiratory distress, his doctor said.
Accompanied by his two daughters and several aides, the 80-year-old former leader was wheeled on a stretcher into the emergency room.
Suharto’s daughter Siti Hardijanti Rukmana told a local television station that Suharto had insisted on remaining at home to celebrate the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.
