Money or Life Dilemma

The Times predicts a “Looming Health Care Storm” (editorial, Dec. 17) but seems to believe that the solution lies in politicians quibbling over appropriations or government agencies fighting for their share of funds. Such machinations will have little or no effect on the average American, who, when in need of health care services, will be confronted by the age-old proposition: Your money or your life.
