* Rental car company Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group Inc. said it will cut compensation of its top 40 executives and suspend all 2002 merit pay increases as part of a cost-saving drive resulting from a steep business drop-off after Sept. 11. The company also said it has suspended its match for employees’ 401(k) plans.
