Donors Needed to Boost Local Blood Supplies
United Blood Services is seeking donors to help bolster local blood supplies, which are 20% below normal for December.
“We need 110 donations daily to meet our local patient and hospital needs, and we have not been able to do that for the past two weeks,” said Patty Hunt, community relations director for United Blood Services, which is the sole nonprofit blood provider servicing all nine hospitals in Ventura County.
