Arriving in Style: My favorite weekend starts with a first-class flight from Dallas. I’ll rent a Jaguar ‘cause you gotta look good in Hollywood. I stay at Le Parc, just off Melrose Avenue. It’s the coolest--like having your own apartment. All rooms have fireplaces, kitchens, stereos and more. The rooftop pool has a great view of L.A. and the room service is superb.

Hitting the Town: Friday is supper at my favorite Japanese place, Benihana. Very entertaining, absolutely great food. Don’t forget the sake--it gets your night off to a great start. Then to Dublin’s, a cool little Irish bar in West Hollywood with plenty of nice-looking females and some great drinks. Then to the Rainbow Room on the Strip, the world famous R ‘n’ R bar, where on any given night you could run into one of your favorite rock stars. They’ve got great food, cheap drinks and great music.

Above Par: Saturday, it’s golf with my best friend, Joe, at Tijeras Creek Golf Club in Orange County. They have 18 of the nicest holes around. The view is great, and as long as you break 90, it’s a great day. Saturday night supper is at Acapulco’s on La Cienega. They have a variety of hot sauces and the best tacos. Then to the Whisky for the best up-and-coming rock bands. Many got their start there, so you never know when you may be witnessing greatness at an early stage. We’ll stop by the Bodyshop for last call and a glance at Southern Cali’s finest adult entertainers.

Hard Rock and Blues: Sunday, I start at Venice Beach to check out the little shops and large collection of unique people. Lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe at CityWalk in Universal City for chicken fajitas. A guitar from my brother, Dimebag Darrell, is on display. I’ll then head to the great sights, sounds and rides of Universal Studios. That place will wear you out! For a nightcap, it’s B.B. King’s Blues Club. Because it’s Hollywood, ya never know who you’re gonna meet. Last time, B.B. sat right down next to me!
