Ixia Reports 190% Increase in Net Income for Quarter

Ixia of Calabasas reported net income of $4.1 million for the fourth quarter that ended Dec. 31. Revenue for the quarter was $26.5 million, a 190% increase from the $9.2 million last year.

For the year that ended Dec. 31, the company reported net income of $8 million, compared with $4.8 million. Revenue rose 210% to $76 million from $24.5 million.

Ixia provides high-speed multiple port traffic generation and network performance analysis systems for optical communications networks.
