Cymerys Named VP of Underwriting, Pricing at PacifiCare

* Edward C. Cymerys has been named to the newly created position of senior vice president of pricing and underwriting for PacifiCare Health Systems Inc. in Santa Ana. Cymerys joined PacifiCare in 1998 as vice president, actuary pricing and underwriting. Before that, he was senior actuary for the health industry consulting practice of Towers Perrin in San Francisco.

* Jay Todisco has been named principal of Ware & Malcomb Architects Inc. He joined the firm in 1998 as regional director for the Irvine corporate office.

* Ed Allison has been appointed senior vice president of operations for Alteer Corp. in Irvine. In the newly created position, Allison will direct day-to-day operations and oversee the sales, training and implementation, and technical service departments. Allison was formerly with the San Diego offices of InfoCure in Atlanta.

* Michael W. Drury has been appointed vice president of marketing for Enfrastructure in Aliso Viejo. Before joining the company, Drury was vice president of marketing at BizBuyer.com. He was also director of electronic commerce for Avery Dennison Corp.
