$500,000 Falls Out of Armored Truck
From Times Wire Reports
A well-dressed man apparently scooped up nearly $500,000 that fell out of an armored truck onto a busy street in Cleveland, the FBI said.
An armored truck employee told the FBI he noticed the money was missing when he discovered a door was ajar. FBI officials said they were analyzing surveillance film from security cameras to see if the man’s image is on the tape.
The money was lost during a half-mile trip from the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland to Jacobs Field, home of the Cleveland Indians.
