1997 Pas de Trois ‘Artists Series’ Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley.

Share

A classic Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon at a great price for the quality. Deep in color and tasting of dark summer fruits, it is deliciously spicy with overtones of cedar and vanilla. The soft, ripe tannins mean you can drink it now, but this wine will gain complexity and finesse if you have the patience to cellar it for several years. A perfect bottle to bring to a dinner party.

This vintage, the first of the Pas de Trois Artists Series, celebrates three leading American choreographers: Merce Cunningham, Mark Morris and Donald Byrd, with labels devoted to each. Nonprofit foundations that support the work of each choreographer will receive a royalty from every bottle sold.
