President Bush telephoned former First Lady Nancy Reagan to mark the signing of a congressional resolution honoring former President Reagan’s 90th birthday.

The joint resolution from the Senate and House expressed “our deep gratitude and admiration for the president,” Bush said in the call. Reagan, who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease, turned 90 on Feb. 6.
