Hospital’s Care

Los Robles Regional Medical Center gave my family a priceless gift over the holidays, my father’s life.

I can not adequately express my thanks to the hard-working caretakers who heal and comfort those who need them. I am certain they would rather have been home with their own families celebrating the holiday season.

Even though we were warned that my father probably wouldn’t live through Christmas, with their good care and his determination, our family celebrated a happy New Year.

Robert Shaw, the hospital’s chief executive officer, stopped in the middle of his busy day to help me when I was distraught (we had lost Dad’s cane). I’m glad I asked a nurse who that kind man was so I can thank him for showing compassion to a stranger. His good example has passed down to many who work at Los Robles.

Many thanks to all of you for your service not only to my family but to the entire community.
