NovaStor Appoints New Chief Technology Officer

NovaStor Corp. in Simi Valley has promoted Christopher R. Harvey to the position of chief technology officer.

Harvey is the first to fill the newly created position.

“As NovaStor conducts more business over the Internet, his abilities will prove to be invaluable,” said Peter Means, president and chief executive.

Harvey has worked in the computer and electronics industry for 20 years. After several years of technical sales management and system engineering at Tandy Corp. and General Computer, he started his own company specializing in custom software development and network integration for small- to medium-sized businesses.

Harvey has been with NovaStor for more than two years. With this promotion, he is relocating to Simi Valley from Reading, Pa.

Established in 1987, NovaStor develops data protection and disaster-recovery software for Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000, NetWare and Linux.
