SMTEK International’s Quarterly Revenue Up 67%

SMTEK International in Thousand Oaks, a provider of electronics manufacturing services, said revenue for the three months ended Dec. 31 grew 67% to $24.1 million, up from $14.4 million a year earlier.

Income from continuing operations for the quarter totaled $419,000 or 18 cents a share, compared with a loss a year earlier of $82,000 or 4 cents a share.

SMTEK provides services to original equipment manufacturers in the computer, telecommunications, instrumentation, medical, industrial and aerospace industries.

The company’s operations are in Thousand Oaks; San Diego; Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Northern Ireland.
