Square Hole, Round Cup

These beautiful sake cups are made from a Japanese cypress wood called hinoki-the same used in the making of traditional Japanese baths. They are so elegant and simple that you’ll want to display them as well as use them. The most traditional shape is the square, but the round cups are more contemporary.

Diet Pop Without the Tears Hansen’s new diet soda flavors sound irresistible-tangerine lime, kiwi strawberry, peach and black cherry. Unlike many diet sodas, they contain no sodium or caffeine. Our favorite in the Times Test Kitchen was peach, followed by tangerine lime.
