Panel of Writers to Discuss TV, Films

Film and television writers including Gary Ross (“Dave,” “Big”), Robin Swicord (“Little Women”), Peter Mehlman (“Seinfeld,” “It’s like, you know . . .”), Ed Solomon (“It’s Garry Shandling’s Show,” “Men in Black”) and Michael Tolkin (“The Player”) will take part in “The First Time I Got Paid for It,” a Writers Bloc panel discussion scheduled for Monday.

Director and novelist Peter Lefcourt, who co-edited the book “The First Time I Got Paid for It,” will moderate the 7:30 p.m. panel.

Tickets for the event, to be held at the Writers Guild Theater, 135 S. Doheny Drive, Beverly Hills, are $15.
