It’s the best streak by an Anteater team since January 1984. Irvine wasn’t sharp in Thursday’s 65-61 victory over Idaho but got the job done. Despite foul trouble, guard Jerry Green had 24 points. Santa Barbara got 22 points from Branduinn Fullove on Thursday and picked up its first road victory in six games when it defeated Cal State Fullerton, 74-71.
