Tennis Star Becker, Wife Settle Dispute

Retired German tennis star Boris Becker and his wife have reached an out-of-court settlement of their divorce case. “They reached a global settlement,” Becker’s attorney Robert Kohlman said in Miami. Kohlman declined to give details of the deal except to say the contract will be enforced by a Munich court. A German newspaper had reported Sunday that Becker, 33, and his wife, 34, had settled their alimony and child custody case and would share custody of their two sons, with Barbara Becker receiving a one-time payment of $14.4 million.
