ARV Assisted Living CFO to Also Serve as President

Abdo H. Khoury has been named president of ARV Assisted Living Inc. in Costa Mesa. He will retain his duties as chief financial officer. Khoury had been senior vice president and chief financial officer since 1999, when he was promoted from vice president, treasury and asset strategy. Before that, he was president of ARV’s Apartment division.

* Kirk Redding has been appointed president of the Central Retail division of New Century Financial Corp. in Irvine. He is co-founder of Primewest Funding Corp., which became a subsidiary of Century three years ago and will be merged into the New Century Mortgage Corp. subsidiary. Redding was also named to the board of directors. Paul Akers, the other founder of Primewest, was selected as senior vice president of the division.

* Joseph A. Lobe has been named vice president and private banking officer at PriVest Bank in Costa Mesa. He was vice president and bank manager for California Federal Bank’s Newport Center office.

* Pamela Rigdon has joined RemoteVideo.com in Irvine as vice president, marketing. Rigdon previously spent 20 years at Odetics Inc. For the last two years, she was director of marketing communications at Gyyr, Odetics’ largest division.

* Kelly Borgen has been named assistant account executive at Roxburgh, a communications company in Costa Mesa. Borgen, who joined the agency in 1997, was most recently an advertising account coordinator.

* Stephen Hobbs and Trindl Reeves have been named managing directors of the Newport Beach office of Marsh, a risk and insurance services firm. Hobbs joined the firm in 1992 and leads the client executive and sales practices. Reeves is senior client executive and regional technology practice leader.
