Hold the ‘Pizza’

I am mystified why Calendar dedicated so many pages to the lousy sitcom “Two Guys and a Girl,” a show that is the broadcast equivalent of lint as well as the ultimate example of “safe TV” (“It Only Looks Like a Ball,” by Craig Tomashoff, Jan. 7).
Perhaps we’re all missing something and future generations will unearth “Two Guys and a Girl” and discover its hidden genius, elevating the episodes with “A Pizza Place” still in the title to the status of those lost “Honeymooners” shows.
In the meantime, I’ll watch repeats of “Married . . . With Children” and Howard Stern’s “Son of the Beach” on FX. Better to view shock than schlock.
