Re “Actor Farrell to Lead Debate on Issue of Capital Punishment,” Jan 17.
Mike Farrell and his fellow bleeding-heart liberals, so intent on coddling murderers, have finally convinced me: We should outlaw the death penalty.
However, before we do that, let’s make a big database of people who, like Farrell, have led the battle against capital punishment. Then each time a violent felon is convicted, we will draw a name at random from the list and send the felon to live with that person. Oh, the government will reimburse you for your killer’s upkeep.
