* Stage--Santa Barbara Civic Light Opera will open “Triumph of Love” Friday at the Granada Theatre, 1216 State St., Santa Barbara. A seven-member cast is featured in this musical adaptation of Marivaux’s 1732 comedy, which explores the lengths to which people will go in the quest for love. * Museum--The Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History will open two new exhibits Saturday. “Origins of Scientific Illustration: Basilius Besler to John James Audubon,” antique natural history prints chronicle how naturalists and artists sought to document new discoveries before the age of photography. Through April 29. “Visions of the Universe,” features 24 original astronomical paintings by Joe Tucciarone. Through April 22. * Family--June Foray, the voice of Rocket J. Squirrel in the “Rocky and Bullwinkle” cartoons, brings to life Prokofiev’s classical music fairy tale “Peter and the Wolf” in a performance with the West Coast Symphony Orchestra on Sunday at the Lobero Theatre. Presented by the Cielo Foundation and the Lobero Theatre Foundation. The production also features Saint-Saens’ “Carnival of the Animals,” with verse by Ogden Nash and narration by Foray.
