Board Moves Boost Irvine Sensors’ Shares 31%

Shares of Irvine Sensors Corp. jumped nearly 31% Friday, a move that the company and a trader attributed to prominent board appointees. Earlier Friday, Irvine Sensors’ unit, INetworks Corp., named William Perry, a former Defense secretary, and John Deutch, a former deputy secretary of Defense and director of the Central Intelligence Agency, to the seven-member board of directors. The stock gained 63 cents to close at $2.69 on the Nasdaq Small-Cap market.
