At Least They Have That Initial Thing Going

T.J. Simers probably would claim a kinship with H.L. Mencken, and except for the wit, the vocabulary, the command of language and the substance in Mencken’s work, he can be excused for doing so.

It’s a shame to see him take away valuable space with his valueless maunderings from those who uphold the tradition of responsible, entertaining, honest and graceful writing, and who no doubt regard him as an embarrassment in their midst.
