Remembering Forgotten Veterans; Investigating ‘A Fatal Attraction’
More than 20,000 Chinese Americans served in the U.S. Armed Forces during World War II.
The one-hour documentary “We Served With Pride” (8 p.m. KCET) recounts the often overlooked history of those courageous men and women, interviewing individuals who contributed to the war effort by taking on a variety of assignments at home and abroad.
For the first time, these largely forgotten veterans share their personal experiences as members of the Marine Corps, Air Force and American Red Cross.

At 10 p.m. on ABC, medical correspondent Nancy Snyderman examines the risks being taken by female smokers in “Women and Cigarettes: A Fatal Attraction.”
Snyderman offers findings that suggest the dangers of inhaling tobacco may be more hazardous for women than men.
She also reports on new tests that can detect cancer early, increasing odds of a cure. In another segment, she presents an experiment that sets out to dispel the myth of the low-tar cigarette.
